Woods, who has undergone seven back surgeries and over twenty leg operations, has faced ongoing health challenges. The crash occurred when Woods, driving a black Land Rover, followed a white Ford F-150 truck with a trailer. As the truck slowed to make a right turn, Woods' vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, struck the trailer, and flipped over. Woods claimed he was distracted by his phone and changing the radio station at the time. He submitted to a breath test showing no alcohol but refused a urine test. Woods was charged with DUI, property damage, and refusal to take a urine test.
