Pharos Network Secures $44 Million Series A to Scale RWA Tokenization

Pharos Network has announced the successful closure of a $44 million Series A funding round, positioning the company for its upcoming mainnet debut. The round was led by a diverse group of investors, including Flow Traders, Chainlink, and the venture arm of Sumitomo Corporation, alongside several undisclosed global financial institutions. The network is designed as an "asset-native" layer-1 blockchain specifically engineered to bring regulated financial instruments—such as private credit, bonds, and energy projects—onto the blockchain. By utilizing parallel processing, Pharos aims to handle high transaction volumes while maintaining the strict audit trails and identity verification required by institutional users. This latest capital injection follows an initial $8 million seed round co-led by Hack VC and Lightspeed Faction. The company's valuation has climbed to approximately $1 billion, reflecting the growing appetite for tokenized real-world assets (RWA). Current industry data indicates that total on-chain RWAs have grown to $24.3 billion, up from $14 billion at the start of the year. Pharos is targeting a massive potential market estimated at $50 trillion. The firm has already established a partnership with energy company GCL to tokenize solar-backed assets and reports significant activity on its testnet. As the project moves toward its mainnet launch, it seeks to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized ledger technology.
