KITS Eyecare Appoints Ibrahim Kamar as Chief Financial Officer

Kamar brings nearly two decades of experience within the optical sector to the role. His background includes a significant tenure at Clearly, formerly known as Coastal Contacts, where he served as CFO from 2019 to 2022. During his leadership at Clearly, Kamar was credited with driving double-digit improvements in key financial metrics and managing the financial reporting requirements for the company's NASDAQ listing. CEO Roger Hardy emphasized that Kamar's deep industry knowledge and understanding of the business model position him well to lead the company's financial strategy. The appointment is intended to support KITS as it continues to execute its current growth trajectory. Shares of KITS (KITS.TO) showed minimal movement surrounding the announcement, closing Wednesday's session at C$15.17, representing a slight increase of 0.40 percent.
