SpaceX has reportedly filed confidentially for an IPO targeting a valuation of up to $2 trillion. While launch and satellite services drive current revenue, analysts suggest the company's true value lies in its integrated AI ecosystem.

  • Confidential SEC filing targets $1.75T - $2T valuation
  • Estimated 2025 EBITDA of $8 billion
  • Starlink network exceeds 10,000 satellites and 9 million users
  • Terafab JV with Tesla aims to eliminate semiconductor bottlenecks
  • Sovereign AI market projected at $600 billion by 2030

SpaceX has confidentially filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to go public, potentially marking the largest listing in history. The company is reportedly seeking to raise approximately $75 billion, targeting a valuation between $1.75 trillion and $2 trillion. Financial performance remains robust, with 2025 estimated revenues between $15 billion and $16 billion and an EBITDA of $8 billion. This growth is underpinned by 635 successful Falcon rocket launches and a Starlink network of over 10,000 satellites currently serving 9 million users. However, veteran tech analyst Gene Munster suggests the market is overlooking SpaceX's capacity to build 'sovereign AI.' According to Munster, SpaceX has assembled a unique set of assets capable of providing countries with the ability to develop and harness AI independently. This strategy relies on four pillars: the launch monopoly for orbital data centers, the Starlink hyperscale network, the Grok AI model trained on X's real-time data, and 'Terafab.' Terafab, a high-performance semiconductor fabrication joint venture between Tesla and SpaceX, aims to solve the current chip bottleneck by producing 1 terawatt of compute capacity per year. This vertical integration is designed to capture maximum margin in the intelligence economy. With McKinsey & Company projecting the sovereign AI market could reach $600 billion by 2030, SpaceX's structural advantage in compute and logistics positions it as a dominant force in the next era of global technology infrastructure.
