ASE Technology Reports Strong Q1 Revenue Growth Driven by ATM Segment

ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (ASX), a leading provider of semiconductor manufacturing services, has announced its financial results for March and the first quarter of 2026, revealing robust year-over-year growth across its primary operations. For the month of March, the company reported net revenues of NT$61.58 billion, representing a 14.6% increase compared to the NT$53.75 billion recorded in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, March revenues grew 18.2% from the NT$52.09 billion reported in February. First-quarter performance remained strong, with total net revenues reaching NT$173.66 billion, a 17.2% rise from the NT$148.15 billion seen in the corresponding quarter a year ago. A primary catalyst for this growth was the ATM segment, which saw net revenues climb 29.7% to NT$112.43 billion, up from NT$86.67 billion in the prior-year period. Equity markets responded positively to the revenue beat. Shares of ASX closed Thursday's session at $24.51, an increase of 1.5%. This upward momentum continued into pre-market trading, with the stock rising an additional 0.88% to reach $24.73.
