REalloys Targets Vertical Integration in North American Rare-Earth Supply Chain

Apr 11, 2026 00:25 UTC
ALOY, MP
Long term

Ohio-based REalloys (ALOY) is developing a comprehensive rare-earth platform focusing on both light and heavy elements. The company aims to mitigate supply risk through a diversified feedstock strategy.

  • Vertically integrated model from mining to magnet production
  • Diversified feedstock strategy to reduce asset-specific risk
  • Strategic access to Sheep Creek high-grade deposits
  • Dual focus on light and heavy rare-earth elements
  • Production timeline targeted for H1 2027

REalloys (NASDAQ: ALOY) has entered the public markets via a SPAC merger, positioning itself as a vertically integrated player in the critical minerals sector. Headquartered in Ohio, the company is building a supply chain that spans from recycling and mining to the production of oxides, metallization, and permanent magnets. Unlike competitors such as MP Materials and USA Rare Earth, which rely heavily on single-asset deposits, REalloys is pursuing a diversified feedstock model. This strategy is designed to reduce operational risk by sourcing materials from multiple suppliers rather than depending on a single mine. A key component of this strategy is a memorandum of understanding with U.S. Critical Materials, which grants REalloys access to up to 10% of the mineral production from the Sheep Creek deposit, recognized as one of the highest-grade rare-earth sites in the United States. The company further distinguishes itself by targeting both light and heavy rare-earth elements, whereas many competitors specialize in one or the other. REalloys believes this dual-focus processing platform will establish it as a primary North American source for a broader range of REEs. Despite the strategic positioning, REalloys remains in a pre-revenue phase of development. Commercial production at its separation and metallization facility is not expected to begin until the first half of 2027. Consequently, the investment remains high-risk and speculative until commercial operations are proven profitable.
