U.S. Implements Naval Blockade of Iranian Ports Following Collapse of Nuclear Talks

The U.S. government announced the commencement of a naval blockade targeting Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz effective Monday at 10 a.m. ET. President Donald Trump stated the action is intended to prevent 'world extortion' and pressure Tehran to reopen key oil routes and abandon its nuclear weapons program.
