Invesco Expands Strategic Stake in Superstate to Accelerate Tokenization Efforts

Superstate, a financial technology firm specializing in on-chain infrastructure, has announced the closing of additional capital within its Series B equity funding round. A key participant in this funding is Invesco Private Capital, Inc., an affiliate of the global asset management giant Invesco Ltd. (IVZ). This investment serves as an extension of a broader strategic alliance between the two entities. The partnership is designed to bridge traditional asset management with blockchain technology, focusing on the creation and scaling of tokenized financial instruments to modernize capital markets. As part of the existing agreement, Invesco Advisers, Inc. is scheduled to assume the role of investment manager for the Superstate Short Duration US Government Securities Fund (USTB) starting in the second quarter of 2026. The collaboration aims to advance digital innovation within the financial sector. According to Emily Kulback, Invesco's Global Head of Product, the integration of Superstate's infrastructure allows Invesco to scale its digital assets strategy and broaden its suite of tokenized offerings for investors.
