Aurora Cannabis Expands Portfolio with Safari Flower Acquisition

Aurora Cannabis (ACB) has announced the acquisition of Safari Flower Company, a strategic move aimed at strengthening its operational capabilities. The total value of the transaction is estimated at approximately C$26.5 million. As part of the closing consideration, Aurora issued 2,417,180 common shares to the selling shareholder. In addition to the equity issuance, the company provided a cash payment of C$15 million, subject to customary closing conditions. The deal structure also includes a performance-based component, with up to C$2 million available in contingent cash payments. This arrangement allows Aurora to align the final acquisition cost with specific future milestones. While the acquisition represents a growth step for Aurora, the relatively modest size of the deal is expected to have a limited immediate impact on the company's overall valuation.
