Market analysts are highlighting a shift toward custom silicon and 'neocloud' providers as the next phase of AI scaling. Five companies, including Nvidia and Broadcom, are positioned for significant revenue acceleration through 2027.

  • Nvidia projects 77% growth for Q1 FY2027
  • Broadcom targets $100B annual revenue from custom AI chips by late 2026
  • Nebius Group projects a run rate of $7B-$9B by the end of 2026
  • CoreWeave revenue is projected to reach $23B by 2027
  • SoundHound AI reported 59% YoY revenue growth in Q4

The artificial intelligence sector continues to produce outlier growth figures, with a new focus emerging on the infrastructure required to scale data centers and specialized processing. While general-purpose GPUs remain the industry standard, the market is increasingly pivoting toward custom AI chips and specialized cloud providers—often termed 'neoclouds'—to optimize cost and performance for hyperscalers. Nvidia remains a cornerstone of this expansion, reporting 73% growth in its fiscal 2026 fourth quarter and projecting a 77% increase for the first quarter of fiscal 2027. The company currently trades at 22.4 times forward earnings, reflecting sustained demand for its training and inference hardware. Broadcom is carving a distinct niche in custom silicon, collaborating with hyperscalers to design chips for specific workloads. Management targets $100 billion in annual revenue from custom AI chips by the end of next year, with analysts projecting overall growth of 64% for fiscal 2026 and 50% for fiscal 2027. In the cloud space, Nebius Group and CoreWeave are emerging as critical infrastructure partners. Nebius expects its annual run rate to climb from $1.25 billion at the end of 2025 to between $7 billion and $9 billion by the end of 2026. CoreWeave is seeing similar acceleration, with analysts projecting sales to reach $23 billion by 2027, up from $5.1 billion over the last 12 months. Rounding out the growth plays is SoundHound AI, which is leveraging generative AI for audio recognition. The company reported a 59% year-over-year revenue increase in its most recent fourth-quarter results.
