Outcrop Silver & Gold Appoints Rob Bruggeman as CEO Amid Leadership Shake-up

Outcrop Silver & Gold Corp. (OCGSF, OCG.TO) announced a significant restructuring of its executive leadership team on Monday, appointing Rob Bruggeman as the company's new Chief Executive Officer and Director, effective immediately. The appointment comes as Ian Harris steps down from the CEO role to transition into the position of Chairman of the Board. Simultaneously, Jay Sujir will relinquish his role as Chair while remaining a member of the Board of Directors. The leadership overhaul extends beyond the C-suite. The company confirmed the resignations of Amandip Singh, Vice President of Corporate Development, and Guillermo Hernandez Pineda, Vice President of Exploration. Bruggeman enters the role with over two decades of experience in the mining industry. His previous tenure includes serving as the Chairman and Interim CEO of AbraSilver Resource Corp. (ABBRF, ABRA.TO). Management stated that these changes are designed to facilitate the company's next phase of growth and accelerate the development of its core silver and gold assets. As of the previous trading session on Friday, Outcrop Silver shares closed at $0.3600 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
