UniCredit CEO Orcel Reaffirms Ambitions for Commerzbank Acquisition

UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel has provided further insight into the Italian lender's strategic pursuit of Commerzbank, signaling a continued commitment to the acquisition despite prolonged resistance from the German institution. UniCredit has established itself as the primary investor in Commerzbank, currently maintaining an ownership stake of just under 30%.
