Vietnam and South Korea Forge Strategic Alliance in Nuclear Energy and Security

Vietnam and South Korea have entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership, signing twelve separate agreements covering critical sectors including security, energy infrastructure, and the development of nuclear power plants. The deals were finalized following high-level talks between Vietnamese President To Lam and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in Hanoi. This diplomatic push is designed to integrate Vietnamese firms more deeply into South Korea's global production and supply chains. President To Lam emphasized that these collaborations are essential for Vietnam to evolve into a more self-reliant and robust economy, leveraging South Korean industrial expertise.
