Stewardship Advisors Slashing Treasury Exposure via GOVI ETF

Stewardship Advisors, LLC has continued to unwind its position in the Invesco Equal Weight 0-30 Year Treasury ETF (GOVI), selling an additional 276,000 shares in the first quarter of 2026. The transaction, valued at approximately $7.6 million, marks the latest step in a sustained exit from the fund. The firm's divestment pattern reveals a significant shift in strategy. From a peak of 772,700 shares on September 30, 2025, Stewardship has shed nearly 670,000 shares in just two quarters, effectively reducing the position by 87%. This sell-off coincides with a period of volatility for long-term Treasuries. During Q1 2026, the 10-year yield rose from 4.2% to 4.3%, while the 30-year yield hit 4.88%, putting downward pressure on bond prices across the yield curve, particularly at the long end where GOVI maintains exposure. GOVI utilizes a systematic, equal-weighted laddering strategy across the 0-30 year maturity spectrum. While it offers a predictable annualized yield of approximately 3.8%, its broad duration range makes it more sensitive to interest rate fluctuations than standard intermediate-term funds.
