Capital Management Corp. has significantly reduced its exposure to WisdomTree (NYSE: WT), selling 443,826 shares in the first quarter of 2026. The transaction, valued at approximately $6.9 million based on quarterly average pricing, represents a 79% reduction in the fund's position. The divestment follows a period of robust growth for the New York-based asset manager, whose shares have more than doubled over the past twelve months. Following the sale, the fund retains 118,060 shares, valued at roughly $1.72 million, which now accounts for 0.29% of its total assets under management. Despite the institutional sale, WisdomTree's underlying fundamentals remain strong. In its Q4 2025 financial report, the firm announced record assets under management (AUM) of $144.5 billion, marking a 30% increase year-over-year. Net income also surged 47% to $40 million, supported by a 320 basis point expansion in operating margins for the full year. A key growth driver for the firm is its expansion into blockchain-based tokenized funds. This segment has seen explosive growth, with AUM increasing 25-fold year-over-year to reach $770 million, a development that is attracting fresh attention from institutional investors.
