Fanuc Reports Strong FY2025 Growth and Raises Future Guidance

Fanuc Corp. has reported a robust increase in both net sales and profit for the 2025 fiscal year, signaling strong demand for its factory automation and industrial robotics portfolio. The results highlight the company's ability to scale its operations amidst a global push for manufacturing efficiency. Annual net income attributable to owners of the parent grew 12.9% to 166.54 billion Japanese yen, up from 147.56 billion yen the previous year. Net sales climbed 7.6% to reach 857.83 billion yen, while operating income saw a significant jump of 15.7%, totaling 183.76 billion yen. Basic earnings per share improved to 178.47 yen from 157.31 yen a year ago. Looking ahead, Fanuc issued an optimistic outlook for the first half of the next period, projecting net income of 92.10 billion yen, a 15.4% year-over-year increase. The company also expects first-half net sales to rise 9% to 444.20 billion yen. For the full fiscal 2026, the company forecasts continued growth with net sales projected at 909.60 billion yen, up 6% from last year. Net income is expected to reach 184.90 billion yen, representing an 11% increase, with operating income forecasted to grow 15.5% to 212.00 billion yen. Despite the positive financial trajectory and optimistic guidance, Fanuc shares closed Friday's session in Tokyo at 6,256.00 yen, marking a slight decline of 1.3%.
