Purple Innovation Appoints Former La-Z-Boy CFO Robert Lucian to Finance Lead

Purple Innovation, Inc. (PRPL) has announced that Robert Lucian will take over as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 27, 2026. He succeeds Todd Vogensen, who is departing the company on May 1, 2026, to pursue other professional opportunities. Lucian brings extensive experience in public company financial management to the role. He most recently served as the CFO of La-Z-Boy, Inc., a move that aligns with Purple Innovation's position in the home furnishings and sleep products market. Prior to his tenure at La-Z-Boy, Lucian held the role of CFO for Coty's North America Professional Beauty division. In that capacity, he managed the integration of P&G's Professional Hair Care business into Coty's existing professional nail care operations. Lucian's career is anchored by over three decades at Procter & Gamble. During his time there, he held various leadership positions across corporate finance, global supply chain finance, new business development, and multiple business units. While executive transitions can create short-term uncertainty, the appointment of a seasoned veteran from a similar industry sector may be viewed as a stabilizing move for the company's financial strategy.
