Aeroports de Paris Q1 Revenue Dips Slightly Despite Passenger Growth

Aeroports de Paris (AEOXF) has released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, revealing a slight contraction in overall revenue despite a steady rise in traveler volume. The company reported total revenue of 1.47 billion euros, a minor decrease from the 1.48 billion euros recorded during the same period last year. This divergence suggests that while operational traffic is recovering or growing, the company is facing headwinds in its non-aviation revenue streams. Total passenger traffic rose by 2.3% to 83.9 million, with traffic at Paris Aéroport specifically increasing 2.6% to 23.6 million. Aviation-related revenue saw a positive trend, climbing to 504 million euros from 480 million euros year-over-year. However, these gains were offset by declines in other key segments. Retail and services revenue fell to 484 million euros from 489 million euros, while international and airport development revenue dropped more significantly to 424 million euros from 451 million euros. Real estate revenue remained stable at 104 million euros. The results highlight a shift in revenue composition for the airport operator, where increased traffic is not yet translating into proportional retail and development growth. AEOXF was trading at $135.31 on the OTC Markets following the announcement.
