Jabil Inc. (NYSE: JBL) is expanding its footprint in the artificial intelligence infrastructure market through a strategic collaboration with Sivers Semiconductors. The two companies are working together to develop a 1.6T linear receive optical (LRO) transceiver module, specifically engineered for the rigorous demands of next-generation hyperscale AI data centers. This partnership leverages Sivers’ proprietary high-performance Distributed Feedback (DFB) lasers. By integrating these components, the companies aim to create a high-efficiency solution capable of handling the massive data throughput required by modern AI workloads, which often create bottlenecks in traditional networking hardware. Jabil enters this partnership coming off a strong start to 2026, having established itself as one of the top-performing stocks within the S&P 500 index for the year.
