Nvidia Eyes $6 Trillion Valuation Milestone by Year-End 2026

Nvidia has once again surpassed the $5 trillion market capitalization threshold, renewing investor focus on the company's trajectory toward a $6 trillion valuation. After first hitting the $5 trillion mark in October 2025 and subsequently retreating, the stock's recent recovery suggests a strong bullish trend. Reaching a $6 trillion valuation would require a 20% increase from current levels. While such growth exceeds the typical annual return of the S&P 500, fundamental growth and profit margins suggest this target is attainable before the end of 2026. To achieve a $6 trillion valuation at a conservative price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 30x, Nvidia would need to generate $200 billion in net income. For context, peers such as Alphabet, Microsoft, and Apple trade at multiples ranging from 27x to 34x. Wall Street projections estimate Nvidia's revenue will reach $371 billion by the end of fiscal year 2027, which concludes in January 2027. Maintaining its recent net income margin of 56% would result in a net income of approximately $208 billion, surpassing the requirement for the $6 trillion target. Currently trading at 43.5x earnings, Nvidia maintains a premium over its peers and has not traded below 32x earnings since April 2025. Provided that revenue estimates and profit margins remain stable, the company is well-positioned to hit the next trillion-dollar milestone.
