Daito Trust Construction Posts 5.5% Profit Growth for Fiscal Year 2026

Daito Trust Construction (1878.T) has announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, demonstrating steady growth across its primary financial metrics. The company reported net profit attributable to owners of the parent at 99.0 billion yen, marking a 5.5% increase over the previous year. Top-line performance also showed strength, with net sales reaching 1.98 trillion yen, a 7.7% rise compared to the prior year. This growth in revenue translated to an improved earnings per share (EPS) of 298.96 yen, up from 285.22 yen in the previous period. Looking forward, the company has provided an optimistic outlook for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. Daito Trust forecasts net sales to grow further to 2.05 trillion yen, while profit attributable to owners of the parent is expected to reach 108.0 billion yen. For the first half of the 2027 fiscal year, the firm expects to generate 990.0 billion yen in net sales and 61.0 billion yen in profit. These projections suggest a continued upward trajectory for the company's operational scale and profitability. Despite the positive earnings beat and forward guidance, the company's shares were trading slightly lower at 3,494 yen, a decrease of 0.40%, indicating that the market may have already priced in these gains.
